1. Booking Process

All bookings are confirmed only after advance payment. Guests must share accurate details such as number of people, check-in/out time, and stay purpose. Prices may vary based on dates, season, or availability. MakStay reserves the right to reject bookings that violate property rules or local regulations.

2. Payment Terms

Advance payment is non-refundable unless mentioned in the cancellation policy. The remaining amount (if any) must be paid as per the host’s instructions before or during check-in. Payment confirmations will be shared digitally.

3. Guest Responsibilities

Guests must:

• Follow property rules and local laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and avoid damage.
• Respect host instructions, check-in rules, and timings.
• Provide valid ID proof for all staying guests.
• Any damage caused to the property will be charged to the guest.

4. Property Rules

Each homestay/villa/farmstay has its own:

• Check-in and check-out timings.
• Smoking/alcohol policy.
• Music/noise restrictions.
• Visitor policy.
• Outdoor usage guidelines.
• Guests must follow these rules strictly.

5. Pricing & Taxes

Prices shared by MakStay include stay charges only. Additional charges may apply for: campfire, extra beds, barbeque, special requests, etc. GST may be applicable based on the host/property.

6. Host & Guest Communication

MakStay connects guests with verified hosts. Host details are shared after booking confirmation. For any emergency, guests can contact MakStay support.

7. Liability

MakStay is a booking facilitator and is not responsible for:

• Loss of personal items
• Accidents or injuries during the stay
• Host miscommunication after booking confirmation
• Natural events (rain, landslides, roadblocks)
• We ensure the best experience but cannot guarantee factors beyond our control.

8. Misuse of Property

Any of the following may result in cancellation without refund:

• Illegal activities
• Property damage
• Misbehavior with staff/host
• Excess number of guests without prior permission

9. Changes to Terms

MakStay reserves the right to update these Terms anytime.
